Building on their existing electrical training and knowledge and their desire to run a small business.
Solent Electrical Installations was formed in 2016 by Lewis Jenkins and Dean Wheeler, building on their existing electrical knowledge to run a local small business.
Solent Electrical Installations provide a full range of electrical services from installation of additional sockets, to fault-finding, to full re-wires covering. We are also able to offer the same range of services to commercial operations. We are based in Hythe, Hampshire and cover the New Forest, Southampton and the surrounding areas. We are fully insured and are Part P (electrical safety) registered with Napit.
Lewis Jenkins
DIRECTOR
Lewis trained as an electrician later in his career after a managerial background in the Leisure industry. Lewis has high expectations and is always passionate in what he does. With customer satisfaction always a priority, Lewis enjoys helping customers walk through their renovation projects step by step. He has worked with a wide range of customers from small budgets to high end projects helping achieve customers desired result.
Outside of work Lewis enjoys keeping fit and spending time with his wife and family.
Dean Wheeler
DIRECTOR
Dean began his career at Southampton City Council when he was 18 and stayed for 11 years. The training he received was beyond none and the experience he built up set him up for running his own business. His daily job list would see him doing domestic repairs and maintenance on sites such as care homes and schools.
Dean has always lived in Dibden Purlieu where he still resides with his wife and family.
Kellie Blake
OFFICE ADMINISTRATION
Kellie runs the back office for Solent Electrical Installations, if you call you will often speak to her directly. Her main duties include – scheduling in work, liaising with our clients and suppliers and invoicing.
She has a wealth of administrative experience, having previously been employed by HSBC, a financial advisor and a bookkeeping franchisor.
